What should I know about listing my Montana home?
Listing property in such a competitive market is one of those jobs that is difficult and yet you want to pinch yourself sometimes, because I get to wake up and do this everyday. It’s one of the most challenging and competitive businesses you’ll find, but it’s also incredibly fulfilling.
The listing process essentially is quite similar to launching a business, or a product. You package your unique offering in the most tasteful and desirable way possible. You tailor the presentation toward the demographic the buyer is looking for.
We make sure to cover all the must-have’s, but don’t over-spend on any nice-to-have’s.
Identify the ideal time and the right strategy to launch, based on all the information you can generate from the current market, and then present that home in front of as many eyes as humanly possible.
Real estate isn’t necessarily a sales business, I don’t think you can actually sell someone a house if it doesn’t feel like home to them But it’s all about creating an emotion. Part art, part science. Constant experimentation, refining the process, making it better for the next client.
Listing a home takes a small army, too and I could never do it alone. From start to finish, we have multiple people working on any given listing, all in specialist roles; contractors, stagers, photographers, marketing, branding, title, analytics…We do all this, so you don’t have to stress about the complexities
My role as Listing Agent is to play quarterback; it’s a captain & coach role, coordinating all the specifics, but in the trenches alongside the team creating something beautiful while keeping your best interest top priority
